Snow Queen & Court

Candidates can pre-register online for $30 and pay either online or at the interview. Candidates who don’t pre-register can still sign up at the interview for $40 and will be interviewed at the end of the schedule. All interviews are held at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

  • Princess (ages 4–6), Duchess (7–10), and Countess (11 through middle school): Friday, November 20, beginning at 5:00 PM
  • Snow Queen (high school): Sunday, November 22, beginning at 2:00 PM

We’ll send each candidate’s interview time to her parent or guardian once registration closes. Families will also receive a handout with the parade route and drop-off and pick-up.

Entry is $5 per float, car, horse, jeep, tractor, or other entry.

Line-Up Locations

Line-up begins at 5 pm.

  • 911 Center: American Legion, Grand Marshal, Mayor, and Veterans
  • Spurlin Funeral Home: LCHS Band, Cheerleaders, Walkers, Pageant Winners, last year’s Snow Queen, and Snow Queen candidates
  • Portman Avenue: First Responders
  • Lincoln County Board of Education: Princess, Duchess, and Countess candidates, and horses
  • Stanford Elementary: Floats line up behind the school. Jeeps, tractors, classic cars, and similar entries line up in front.

Rules & Signature

Rules for Entry

  • Candidates must be female residents of Lincoln County.
  • Candidates are judged on personal appearance, interview, and poise. Please come to the interview in dressy attire.
  • The entry fee is $30 when you pre-register. You can pay online when you register or bring it to the interview. Candidates who don’t pre-register can register at the interview for $40 and will be interviewed at the end of the schedule.

  • Your contestant number must be displayed on the vehicle you ride in.
  • Candidates need a male escort for the crowning on Saturday, December 5.
  • Line-up on Saturday, December 5: Princess, Duchess, and Countess candidates meet at the Lincoln County Board of Education. Snow Queen candidates meet at Spurlin Funeral Home. Candidates, escorts, drivers, and vehicles should arrive by [TIME TBD].
  • Snow Royalty will be crowned the evening of December 5, following the Christmas Parade. Prizes are determined by the number of entries.
  • The Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce sets all rules for entry and is not responsible for accidents.
